Putting the “You” in YouTube

Or, "Now that's what I call social media!" Or, something clever involving "user-generated" content... Whatever. Let's get to it...
The thousands of fans at My Morning Jacket's set at Lollapalooza last year were asked to take video of the concert with their cellphones, digital cameras, etc. Current TV broadcast the results in a feature called, All Eyes on MMJ, and those results are pretty amazing. (It helps that MMJ is one of my favorite bands...) And the idea is nothing short of genius. If this is what people mean by Web 2.0, then bring it on!

Very cool. A lot like that Beastie Boys concert/movie (Awesome; I f-in’ Shot That!) from a couple years ago.
