IBM Unleases New Media Newsletter

I wasn’t sure what to expect in a “rich media” newsletter but was blown away by what IBM has created for the SMB market. Apparently they spend $55K per issued to produce this newsletter on a monthly basis but have seen open rates of about 15% with up to 13- 16 minutes of viewing time.

Ok - I’m impressed.

They’ve done a nice job with it.

Studies show that images of people do well getting visitor attention. They lead with the video of the person in the high value, top right, real estate. Her spiel is brief, another good thing in the days of miniscule attention spans…what was I talking about again?

When she’s done, she looks to the side, an effective method of directing visitor attention.
