Getting the most of online ad space?

We all know the IAB has their list of standard ad sizes that pretty much every ad-soaked site out there uses. But this is 2006, the year of “rich media!” And there’s no way rich media can be truly rich, if it’s constrained to a tiny banner ad, right? Right!

Enter the “expandable” rich media ad, as mentioned in Expand Your Rich Media. Used with great effect for Audi by Canadian firm Enlighten.

So, the next time you’re looking into online ad space, you might want to inquire if the space offered is “expandable.”
