Design Trends 2006

Of note:
- Trend toward multicolor design
- Deeply saturated photography with very sophisticated lighting as opposed to the muddy, unprofessional look from a couple years ago
- Illustration is back
- Typography is being varied — mixing / matching sizes, styles, weights, etc.
Page One is about color / imagery / illustration while Page Two is about typography and “feel”.
I think that the idea of typography as design is something that has been untapped in our creative portfolio (look at example #9 on the top of page two) and could make for some interesting pieces. Thoughts?
