Tips, tools, and best practices for B2B marketers.
And here’s where it falls apart.

I received an email from a leading provider of bulk emailing and marketing solutions today that offered to me a white paper titled the Email Marketing Companion with the promise that it would walk me through the "A-Z's of email marketing." Interesting. I could use some guidance from a recognized expert firm. So I gave up my information, downloaded it, and it turns out it is a glossary of terms relevant to online marketing.I feel duped - ripped off. I won't be using this firm.
Moral: If you are going to offer the reader something of value - be honest and make sure it is really of value.

Look on the bright side: a leading provider of bulk e-mailing solutions now has your contact information. Think of all the great value that will come from that!
