A break in the blog
October 10, 2007 | Posted by: Bob
Since beginning writing for this blog I have been reading other blogs about blogging. Unlike many bloggers, the intent of this blog is not to generate income (at least not directly from blogging) but rather to share our thoughts about our industry. As a result, when I get bogged down with work or am out of the office moving my household, taking care of my dad and generally having so much fun that I could spit, there is nothing for me to report on the blog. Still as Lorelle says “blogging success is about the long haul.” I suppose the same can be said of success in any endeavor - even advertising.

While I do not necessarily agree with Woody Allen when he says, “Eighty percent of success is showing up.” I do agree with Alebert Einsteins timeless quote, “Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.” Substitute “man” with just about anything, including “blog,” and it still works.
